“Non-tiddly”: Sir Martin Sorrell talks about Essence in Ad Age’s 2016 Agency Report

In Ad Age's 2016 Agency Report, we were not only featured in the main story, we were also listed as #24 of the 25 largest US mobile agencies and ranked #189 on the list of the largest US agencies

On the topic of mergers and acquisitions, WPP's Sir Martin Sorrell was quoted to say about the $1 billion WPP invested in acquisitions in 2015: "There were some tiddly ones. I don't want to diminish those tiddly ones, but they were tiddly." Among the non-tiddly deals, WPP bought a majority stake in Essence, a UK-based digital agency. Essence was one of four members of Ad Age's 2014 "Five Hot Digital Indies on Adland's Shopping List" to be acquired over the past year."
