Winners of the 2016 Young Cannes Lions announced

Every year, young professionals in advertising, digital, media, creative, and PR are invited to develop a creative and innovative campaign in their respective category to increase brand and name recognition for the Variety Freedom Program for a chance to win the US Young Lions competition. The winning teams of 2016 have now been announced. Out of the 300+ entries submitted in 2016 by the winners are:

Cyber: Graham Davis and Felipe Yamaoka, AKQA
Film: Ricardo Franco and Vince Mak, KBS
Media: Mark Longacre and Catherine Young, Mindshare, NY
PR: Michael DiSalvo and Ben King, Ogilvy Public Relations, NY 
Print: Lauren Cooper and Erika Kohnen, Deutsch, NY 

The winners have a chance to travel to Cannes to compete as Team USA in the global Young Lions competition at the 63rd Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the world’s leading celebration of creativity in communications.

Our very own Jesse Cahill, Head of Media for North America, and Jeremy Sigel, Global Director of Partnerships & Emerging Media, were joined by a list of other marketers and industry leaders to judge the submissions.
