Tim Irwin Appointed CEO, EMEA

Today, Essence announced the appointment of Tim Irwin as CEO for our agency in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

With more than two decades of experience in executive roles at media agencies, Irwin first joined Essence at the beginning of 2018 as chief operating officer for EMEA. Prior to Essence, Irwin served as COO at Maxus and managing director at BJK&E.

Since joining Essence, Irwin has played a critical role in creating the operational infrastructure that has allowed the company to scale rapidly, fully integrating the agency’s service offering, growing annual billings by nearly 35%, and increasing headcount by 25% to more than 500 employees throughout Europe.
