Ryan Storrar


Ryan is Essence’s CEO in EMEA. Based in London, he was named the region's CEO in January 2022 after serving as Chief Operating Officer for Essence in EMEA and EVP, Global Product Strategy.

Since joining Essence in early 2016, Ryan has led the development of Essence's media practices with a particular emphasis on the use of bespoke data and technology which drive outcomes for brands which include Google, NBC Universal, BT, and others. Under his leadership, Essence's approach has gained industry recognition which notably includes being named by AdExchanger as the No. 1 programmatic agency in the world.

Before joining Essence, Ryan held senior digital media roles at various companies, including Marin Software, where he led UK Client Services. 

Residing in the Kentish countryside with his wife and son, Ryan tends to unwind via one of his passions: sports and barbecue.
