Global Chief Business Strategy Officer
As Global Chief Business Strategy Officer at Essence, Sarah Walker oversees the agency's Global Business Strategy practice and plays a key role in defining and executing the agency’s own growth strategy.
Sarah brings a pragmatic, commercial, and analytical approach rooted in behavioral science to building businesses, driving diversification, and catalyzing meaningful change. A leader in communications strategy and innovation, she uses her experience in product strategy, offer development, and business model innovation to help Essence develop new ways to grow by developing next generation tools, methods, and services.
Prior to Essence, Sarah worked at Kantar Millward Brown as Global Lead for Digital Behavior Analytics and Global Practice Director, Behavioral Science. She has also been a WPP Fellow and served in strategy and planning roles at MEC and CHI&Partners.
Sarah holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology and a BA (Hons.) in Natural Sciences (1st Class) from Cambridge University. She is based in Essence's London office.
